Stillroom Interactive - Terms of Use

Terms for a local, quiet game.

These terms set out the rules for using Stillroom, published by Stillroom Interactive.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Stillroom, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You may stop using the app and remove it from your device at any time.

License to use the app

Stillroom Interactive grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Stillroom on devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and the applicable device-store rules.

Fair use of the game

You may enjoy the game's authored evenings and create custom evenings for personal play. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app or its content except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.

Your local content

Notes, settings, progress, practice plans, and custom evenings are stored locally on your device. You remain responsible for any custom title or note you enter. Do not use custom content in a way that violates the rights of another person or applicable law.

Availability and updates

Stillroom is designed to be accessible and reliable. We may release updates that improve, change, or retire parts of the game. Device operating-system changes may affect compatibility. We do not promise that every version will remain available forever or work on every device.

Disclaimers

Stillroom is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. It is a fictional entertainment product and does not provide medical, therapeutic, safety, or professional advice. Your use of the app is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stillroom Interactive will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Stillroom. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the app or to applicable requirements. The effective date in the footer shows when these terms were last updated. Continued use after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
